1- Marcel farm

Gather your family or friends around the XXL statue of Marcel, an unmissable stop during your day at Alpe d’Huez. Strike a pose, look at the camera, and give your best smile for a fun and cheerful photo!

 

📍 Access: From the Signal summit at 2,114 meters altitude.

  • From Alpe d’Huez: Take the Signal gondola or the Grande Sure chairlift.
  • From Villard-Reculas: Board the Villarais chairlift.

2- Chez Roger

A guaranteed unique break! Along the Chez Roger slope, take a seat on the XXL bench alongside Roger, the shepherd, and his friends.

📍 Access: From the Romaines chairlift in the Les Jeux 2100 sector. Take the Les Jeux gondola or the Pic Blanc cable car (formerly known as DMC) to access it from Alpe d’Huez.

3- Ice Cave

Carved beneath the snow, the Ice Cave is a must-visit attraction. This season, discover 12 meters of sculpted galleries on the Vikings theme. The light effects enhance each sculpture, creating stunning photo opportunities.

 

📍 Access: Pic Blanc 1 and Pic Blanc 2 lifts in the Grandes Rousses sector.
🕒 Opening: Daily from November 30, 2024 (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM).

4-Pic Blanc Summit

The Pic Blanc summit offers a 360° panorama of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a clear sky to capture the stunning beauty of the Alpine landscape.

📍 Access: Via the Pic Blanc cable car (formerly known as DMC), Grandes Rousses sector.

4-Télécentre

At the end of the day, hop on the Télécentre, a panoramic gondola that flies over part of the Alpe d’Huez resort. This ride becomes an essential spot to admire the fiery colors of the sunset. A must-do experience after a day on the slopes.

📍 Access: From the Grandes Rousses sector (1800). This lift is free!

7. Le Signal

At 2,100 meters altitude, Le Signal is one of the best viewpoints in Alpe d’Huez. To enjoy an exceptional panorama, head up to the summit at sunrise and be amazed by the clear view over the resort.

📍 Access: Via the Signal gondola, Grande Sure chairlift, or Villarais chairlift from Auris.

8. The old DMC cabins: a retro touch

On the ski area, you’ll find the old DMC cabins, refurbished and installed as unique photo spots that are both nostalgic and original. A great way to capture your visit in a vintage setting!

📍 Access: The cabins are scattered across the snow front in the Grandes Rousses sector, at the foot of the Jeux snowpark – keep an eye out!

9. Campanules Slope

Located in the heart of the ski area, the Campanules slope offers a breathtaking view of the Bergers sector. With a clear horizon and great lighting, this spot is perfect for capturing your descent, with the mountains in the background.

 

📍 Access: From the Bergers sector, go up to Marmottes 2, descend via Combe Charbonnière slope or return to Alpe d’Huez via Sarenne slope through Chalvet.
