Paragliding flights with vertical drops ranging from 250m to 2300m of altitude difference. Accessible to all from 6 years old and all levels.

Departure altitude: 2800m, 2700m or 2100m.

Flights of 250m, 600m, 900m, 1400m drops in altitude depending to the sectors of intervention.

Espace motoneige

Present for more than 20 years in the resort of Alpe d’Huez. We offer you different activities in a unique and magnificent setting : customized hikes and a playground located at 2100m of altitude, to fill up with sensations in the heart of the Alpe d’Huez resort.

Alone, with friends or family, come and discover the exceptional landscapes of Alpe d’Huez.

 

On a circuit during the day or in the slopes in the evening.

Snow Yoga

Yoga classes in the heart of Alpe d'Huez

Join me to connect mind, body and soul in a rejuvenating environment. Private or group classes in the open air with a panoramic view of the mountains.

 

Open to all levels. As a certified RYT-200 Yoga Alliance teacher, I offer Vinyasa Yoga classes, a dynamic practice based on movement, harmonized and initiated by the breath. The practices follow a sequence of postures, while working on the alignment of the body.

 

Classes are held outdoors in a beautiful setting in the mountains. I also offer Yin (gentle yoga) classes, as well as children’s yoga and parent/child yoga.

Dog Sledding

Take a dog sled excursion for a unique nordic adventure....

On an exceptional site, a breathtaking panorama, our mushers will be happy to share their passion with you.

Departures are staggered every 30 minutes from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

All the rides start from the Alpe d’Huez altiport. The sleds can carry a maximum of two people and one child.

They are pulled by 8 dogs. Young children are welcome but accompanied by an adult per sled.

Reservations are required, preferably 15 days in advance.

Ice driving

A fun and playful activity open to all

The EVODRIVER driving school welcomes you on the ice circuit of Alpe d’Huez, located at 1806 m of altitude, in an idyllic setting and on an icy track of over 700 meters.

 

Whether you are an amateur or an experienced driver, come and practice driving on ice at the wheel of a car or a buggy under the supervision of a team of dynamic and experienced instructors. Whether you want to be reassured when you take a road in winter or to learn how to slide, our driving courses will meet your expectations. If you simply want to have fun, the ice buggy will quickly make you feel the sensations of sliding.

Discover a unique concept, in which you can play laser games in the snow.

This activity is accessible to children (from 7 years old) as well as adults, to have a good time with family or friends do not miss this unusual activity. Fun and sensations guaranteed !

Ice cave

Viking theme

At 2700 meters above sea level, at the Lac Blanc 2700 meeting point, this ice cave is carved into the snow by two mountain guides, Bruno Gardent and Bernard Lambolez. Sculptors of glacial works of art give the cave a new look each winter.

Dates: Daily, starting November 30, 2024, snow conditions permitting.

Visiting hours: 9 AM to 4:45 PM

Pedestrian access: DMC 1 + 2 departing from Alpe d’Huez – DMC 1800

 

Tickets available at SATA sales points:

Lift pass + ice cave entrance: €28.00 for adults over 13 years old, €24.50 for children under 13 years old.

 

If you already have a valid ski pass, tickets can be purchased on site.

Touring skiing

An increasingly accessible activity!

A total of 5 hiking trails, each more incredible than the last, have just been created in the Alpe d’Huez area. Accessible during the ski area’s opening hours, these routes are marked by purple signs and markers. The start is indicated by a banner and a sign. The descent is via nearby open alpine ski slopes.

Neither groomed nor maintained, these routes are freely accessible and entirely the responsibility of the hiker.

Walks and cross-country skiing

Enjoy a safe ride through breathtaking scenery.

35 km of pedestrian trails for excursions on foot, with snowshoes, with or without a guide. The trails are marked and dotted with benches to admire the landscape. So don’t hesitate, don’t stay at the foot of the slopes!

 

Cross-country skiing: With 5 loops (green, blue, and red) and 49 km of trails, enjoy a varied cross-country skiing area for all levels and techniques (skating or classic).

 

Access from the Alpe d’Huez 1800 sector or by DMC 1 lift: Lac Besson loop and Poutran loop. Access from the Auris-en-Oisans station: Rochette loop.

Mythical tours

Guided tour of the Pic Blanc or the Grotte de Glace

Take the cable car, ascend to 3330m altitude, and enjoy an exceptional panorama rated 3 stars by the Michelin Guide. During this 2-hour tour, you will cover many topics: the history of the resort, walks, ski slopes, geology, landscape, wildlife…

 

Price: €23.00, including 1 round-trip to Pic Blanc, the guided tour, and access to the ice cave at 2700m.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 AM.
Meeting point: In front of the Alpe d’Huez DMC 1800 lift ticket office, the guide will be waiting for participants 15 minutes before departure with a “Guided Tour” sign.

 

Depending on the weather and the opening of the lifts, the tour may be limited to 2700m and a visit to the ice cave.

Tickets available for purchase at the ticket office only.

If you already have a lift pass: an additional €10.00 upon presentation of your valid pass, and for children under 5 and seniors 72 and over: price €10.00.
