When the slopes close, head up to 2,700 m for a gourmet break inside the ice cave, with hot drinks, charcuterie and cheese surrounded by ice sculptures. Then ski back down in the golden light of sunset, accompanied by the resort’s ski instructors and ski patrollers. An experience reserved for confident skiers, offering a different way to enjoy the mountain at the end of the day.
Your experience, step by step
4:20 pm
Meet at the bottom of the Pic Blanc 1 gondola station, at the Rond-Point des Pistes, on the snow front at 1,800 m (4:30 pm during French school holidays).
4:30 pm
Take the Pic Blanc gondola up to 2,700 m. As the resort quietens down, enjoy the changing landscapes in the late-afternoon light.
At 2,700 m
Enjoy hot drinks, charcuterie and cheese platters inside the ice cave, while watching the sunset.
6:15 pm
Ski back down accompanied by ski instructors and ski patrollers, via the Couloir and Ancolies routes, then continue down to 1,800 m, depending on conditions.
