Villard-Reculas, from village charm to wide slopes

In Villard-Reculas, just a few turns from the Alpe d’Huez ski area, the local slopes welcome both experienced skiers and beginners, with 9 runs ranging from green to black. In less than 8 minutes, you can reach the top of the Signal at 2,100 m. Without taking off your skis, head towards the fun Marcel’s Farm run, continue on to Alpe d’Huez and up to 3,330 m, or explore the 20 km of descents in the Villard-Reculas sector.

The village also enjoys wide-open views over the surrounding mountain ranges, adding to the sense of skiing in a truly Alpine setting.

A beginner area at the foot of the slopes makes learning easy and reassuring for both adults and children.

Looking to try a more off-piste style of skiing? Head to the Forêt Freeride area. Secured and opened by the resort’s ski patrol, this ungroomed black run offers a more natural skiing experience together with impressive views down into the valley.
