At 3,330 m, temperatures are often much colder than in the resort, and it can be windy. Make sure you wear full ski clothing, even if you are visiting as a pedestrian, as well as warm shoes with good grip.
The altitude can leave you short of breath, so take your time and stay hydrated. Sunglasses and sunscreen are essential due to the strong glare from the snow.
Taking children under the age of 4 up by cable car is not recommended because of the rapid change in altitude.

Meeting point

In front of the ski lift ticket office, at the bottom of the Pic Blanc 1 cable car.

Purchase

At the ticket office only.

Weather conditions

Depending on the weather and lift operating conditions, the visit may be limited to 2,700 m and the ice cave.
