Our Partners

Six partners support the Espace Alpe d’Huez, all of which are located between Lyon and Grenoble: an airport, a ski brand, two skincare brands, a liqueur company, and a rugby club. Here’s who they are and where to find them.

Lyon Airport

Fly into Lyon, then take the shuttle to the station.

Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport serves many resorts in the Alps, including Alpe d’Huez. In winter, Ben’s Bus shuttles depart from the airport and travel to the resort via Bourg d’Oisans. The airport estimates the trip to take about 2 hours and 10 minutes, though it may take a little longer depending on the schedule.

Reserve your seat with Ben’s Bus as soon as your flight is confirmed; the schedules are also posted on the airport’s website. Be sure to order your ski pass online before you leave, so you’ll arrive at the resort with everything you need.

La Rosée

SPF 50+ sunscreen for days spent at high altitudes.

In the mountains, the sun is stronger than it seems: UV radiation increases with altitude, and fresh snow reflects a large portion of it. Apply sunscreen before heading up, reapply it throughout the day, and protect your eyes with appropriate sunglasses or a ski mask.

Chartreuse

Monastic craftsmanship from the Isère region, come discover it in Voiron.

The story begins in 1605, when a manuscript was given to the Carthusian monks. It took them more than 150 years to perfect the recipe for the Élixir Végétal, in 1764; the Green and Yellow Chartreuse were created in the 19th century. The liqueurs are still made from plants, using this traditional know-how.

The Chartreuse cellars are located in Voiron, in the Isère department, on the road between Lyon and Grenoble. They are open to visitors; check the company’s website for hours and reservations.

Alpe d'Huez Partners: Plan Your Trip, From Arrival to the Slopes

Planning a ski trip starts with arranging transportation, gear, and lift tickets. Alpe d’Huez’s partners are there every step of the way, from the trip from Lyon to the final run down the slopes of the Espace Alpe d’Huez.

Once there, the ski area features 250 km of slopes and five interconnected resorts: Alpe d’Huez, Auris-en-Oisans, Oz 3300, Vaujany, and Villard-Reculas, with the Pic Blanc at 3,330 m.

Alpe d’Huez’s partners, step by step

If you’re flying in, the shuttle schedule between Lyon Airport and Alpe d’Huez is available on the Lyon Airport website: book your transfer as soon as your flight is confirmed. In the resort, local shops can help you test or rent equipment; Rossignol, a brand founded in Isère, is Alpe d’Huez’s ski partner.

At high altitudes, UV radiation is stronger and the snow reflects it: La Rosée, a Lyon-based brand, offers a line of high-protection sunscreen. In the evening, Novëm takes over with walnut-based skincare products. FC Grenoble Rugby has chosen Alpe d’Huez for its high-altitude training.

One ski pass for all 5 resorts in the area

On the slopes, the Espace Alpe d’Huez ski pass grants access to all 5 resorts. It’s available for 1 to 10 days and can be booked online before your arrival. Students and employees whose company’s works council is a partner each have their own special offers; other discounts are listed on a separate page.
