Sunset 2700 is experienced in small groups to ensure a friendly, high-quality experience, with participant numbers limited to between 20 and 45 people, available from age 7, for children and adults who are comfortable on the slopes.
Bookings can be made online up to 48 hours before the experience, and then directly at the sales desk until the day before.

Sunset 2700: the programme for your high-altitude interlude
4:45 pm – Ascent to 2,700 m
The experience begins with a cable car ride from Pic Blanc up to 2,700 m above sea level.
Gradually, the bustle of the resort fades away, giving way to the calm of the mountain, while the evening light transforms the landscapes.
At 2,700 m – Welcome and Gourmet Break
Upon arrival, you are welcomed inside the ice cave, a spectacular and extraordinary setting.
You can take your time to explore this unique space and enjoy a gourmet break with hot drinks and platters of cured meats and cheeses, all while admiring the sunset and the surrounding panoramas.
18:00 – Guided Descent to Alpe d’Huez
The evening continues with a guided descent back to Alpe d’Huez.
Led by instructors and ski patrol, you follow the Couloir, Ancolies, and Jeux runs, or the first section down to 1,800 m depending on conditions, for one final glide in complete safety and tranquillity.
Sarenne Sunset: The Ultimate Experience
As the first stars appear in the sky, let yourself be enchanted by an unforgettable panoramic view of the Aiguilles d’Arves, the Meije, and many other majestic peaks. After a short descent, enjoy a special moment at the GUC refuge. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our team invites you to share a convivial moment over mulled wine, while the last light of day sets the surrounding peaks ablaze.
Once night falls, light your way with your headlamps and embark on the legendary Sarenne piste. In the soothing silence of the mountains, only the glide of your skis breaks the calm, accompanied by the twinkling of headlamps in motion. Upon reaching the Pont du Gua, take a seat on the Chalvet chairlift. From the top of the Campanules piste, treat yourself to one final descent, returning to the illuminated resort down to the Bergers district.

Experience the Sarenne Sunset, an unforgettable descent at sunset.
4.30 pm
At the time the ski area closes to the public, the team will be waiting for you at the base of the Pic Blanc 1 cable car at 1,800 m.
You will all board the last cable car together to reach Pic Blanc at 3,330 m.
5.30 pm
Enjoy a special and convivial moment at the GUC refuge with our team, where entertaining stories and unique tastings await. Marvel at a stunning sunset before descending the legendary Sarenne slope.
6.45 pm
Expected arrival at the Bergers district.
7.30 pm
Arrival at les Bergers

- Have a valid lift pass (or purchase an end of day pass for 20,00€)
- Maximum 45 people per event
NB: This excursion is not recommended for snowboarders as the last part of the slope (2km) to Huez village is difficult due to the slight gradient. Good ski level required for all participants. Helmet strongly recommended. Supervision and safety ensured by qualified ski instructors and ski patrols.
