Cross-country skiing

A Nordic area where you can experience the mountains in a whole new way!

ski de fond à l'alpe d'huez

Nordic skiing offers a different way of experiencing the mountains: gentler, calmer and closer to nature. There’s no need to be an expert — everyone can move at their own pace along wide, accessible trails while enjoying the crisp mountain air.

The glide is peaceful, with the soft sound of snow under your skis, vast silent spaces and open horizons that invite you to slow down.

As you head up towards the Poutran loop, the landscape gradually opens out, revealing the Eau d’Olle valley with views over the villages of Oz-en-Oisans and Allemont.

Further on, the route of the Lakes loop leads you all the way to Lake Besson.

In winter, its frozen surface reveals unique plays of transparency, creating the feeling of stepping into a timeless space.

That’s what Nordic skiing is all about: a chance to breathe, to walk or glide differently, and to discover the mountains from a calmer, more contemplative angle.
