The Benjamin storm, which occurred during the night of October 22 to 23, caused damage to the Pic Blanc cable car. Since then, our teams and partners have been working tirelessly to repair the lift as quickly as possible, while ensuring a safe reopening for everyone, which remains our absolute priority.

High-altitude skiing at 3,000 m remains accessible, as well as the Sarenne run, via the Marmottes 3 lift.

We fully understand that this situation may raise questions, particularly for our expert skiers who are used to accessing the very top of the ski area.

We have extended the opening hours of the Marmottes lift system to make access to 3,060 m easier.

Morning opening brought forward by 45 minutes.

Early departures have been scheduled from Auris, Villard-Reculas, Oz-en-Oisans and Vaujany to optimize connections to the Marmottes lift system.

A reservation system for Marmottes 3 cabins (similar to the Direct to Pic Blanc) has been introduced, allowing access to 3,060 m without waiting.

These measures ensure the continuation of high-quality high-altitude skiing, particularly via Marmottes 3, with access to L’Herpie and the Sarenne run.

In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as unfavorable weather conditions or

technical issues, Alpe d’Huez ski area has the right to cancel your booking to ensure your safety.
