New this year: Direct au Pic is temporarily changing to Direct à Sarenne by Marmottes 3.

to repair the ski lift as quickly as possible while ensuring a safe reopening for everyone, which remains our top priority.

High-altitude skiing at 3,000 metres will remain accessible, as will the Sarenne piste via the Marmottes 3 ski lift. More information about Pic Blanc

Organisation set up at Pic Blanc

The exceptional closure of the Pic Blanc cable car is the result of a major technical incident that occurred during Storm Benjamin. Our teams and technical partners are working hard to get it back up and running as soon as possible, while ensuring optimal safety conditions, which remain our top priority.

We understand that this situation may raise questions, particularly for our expert customers who are used to accessing the top of the ski area. It is precisely for them that we have put in place a special arrangement to guarantee access to the top of the slopes in the best possible conditions.

We have extended the opening hours of the Marmottes ski lift chain to facilitate access to 3,060 m:

  • Opening 45 minutes earlier in the morning.
  • Early departures from Auris, Villard-Reculas, Oz-en-Oisans and Vaujany to optimise connections to the Marmottes chain.
  • Introduction of a booking tool for Marmottes 3 cabins (similar to Direct au Pic) to access 3,060 m without waiting.

These improvements enable us to maintain high-quality skiing at altitude, particularly via Marmottes 3, with access to L’Herpie and the Sarenne piste.
