The loop of the lakes

Access: via DMC 1 / Return ticket up to 2,100m

Discover splendid mountain lakes thanks to this walk which will lead you to the Carrelet lake via the Besson lake and the Noir lake. Itinerary of 1h30, easy with children (see “the hiking map N°2, itinerary n°238”, on sale at our ticket offices).

Le Pic Blanc

Access: by the DMC 1 + 2 + TPH Pic Blanc / day pass

Enjoy the exceptional panorama offered by the Pic Blanc at an altitude of 3,330m. You will be able to admire a unique 360° view where 2 orientation tables allow you to locate the surrounding mountain ranges and to visualize 1/5 of the French territory. From 2 700m (itinerary of 1h55 of intermediate level): follow the traces of the miners of the Middle Ages, on the Mines of Herpie (see “the hiking map N°2, itinerary n°258”, on sale at our ticket offices).

From the Signal to Villard Reculas village

Start by reaching the Signal and the breathtaking panoramic view of the whole of Alpe d’Huez, then discover the Bergerie and finally the authentic village of Villard-Reculard.

A village perched at 1500m on the Romanche valley, Villard-Reculas is a haven of peace made up of chalets and small streets. You will enjoy the atmosphere of a mountain village during your walks and evenings in the village.  

The dôme des Rousses

Apprehend the famous Dôme des Rousses which nestles at an altitude of over 2800m and which will give you breathtaking panoramic views! You can choose to access it directly with the help of the ski lifts, or venture to the summit via the various marked trails!

Oz en Oisans discovery

Start from the Jeux lift (2100) then discover Poutran and the authentic and charming village of Oz en Oisans.

Nestled at an altitude of 1350m, in the heart of the Alpe d’Huez ski area, Oz has the charm and authenticity of a family ski resort. Come and discover its warm atmosphere: its small residences dressed in wood or stone, its chalets and its pine tree decor.

The Refuge de la Fare

Welcome to the REFUGE DE LA FARE ! Access from the DOME DES ROUSSES by the Lac de la Fare path or directly from the Alpette sector.

Florence, the hut’s caretaker, welcomes hikers and mountaineers all year round for a little break with fresh drinks and homemade blueberry pie!

And for an unforgettable experience, why not stay for a traditional mountain or oriental dinner under the stars and fall asleep in the warmth of the refuge at an altitude of over 2300m with family or friends!
