Essential activities in Alpe d'Huez: the legendary Sarenne slope
The Sarenne slope, with its 16 km of adventure, offers two must-do activities in Alpe d’Huez: the first tracks of the morning and skiing under the stars.
On Wednesdays during school holidays, treat yourself to the pleasure of making the first tracks on the Sarenne. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the slopes, you’ll be accompanied by mountain professionals, giving you an exclusive insight into their daily routine while you enjoy a moment of contemplation at 3,330 metres altitude.
For a truly unique nighttime experience, try skiing under the stars. After the ski area closes, head up to the summit of Pic Blanc at 3,300 metres and be dazzled by breathtaking panoramas. Join us at the GUC refuge for a special evening dedicated to relaxation and stargazing. Enjoy a warm drink as you admire the sunset over the surrounding peaks and marvel at the stunning views of the Aiguilles d’Arves, La Meije, and much more.
